About me
Eman Al Alawi
MSc Psychologist, NHRA.
I work largely in a non-directive way, using a child-centered approach. I incorporate more directive approaches when appropriate.

I am keen to create a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental environment that is confidential. I provide a gentle space for your child to express themselves using play and creative therapies. Creative ways of expression play an important role in my work.

By using the child-centered therapeutic approach, the child uses the session based on their means. The child is the one who chooses how to use the playroom, which ways they can use the playroom, and in which ways it can help them process their thoughts and struggles.

I work with children aged 3-10 with the following issues: anxiety, dealing with parents' divorce and separation, ADHD, communication, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. I also provide support for children to help them get in touch with their feelings as well as supporting children with low self-esteem.

I offer a dedicated playroom with real-life toys, sand, art, and a wide range of therapeutic toys and resources to aid therapeutic expression.

I can provide sessions in English and/or Arabic.

Note: available for short-term therapy only.
